One of Britain's Oldest and Cumbria's Biggest Livestock Shows featuring: sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, alpacas also horses, poultry, hounds dogs, heavy horse and rare breeds.
Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, WI, Learning for Life and Craft marquees. 350+ Trade Stands and the country's largest local produce food hall with celebrity chef demonstrations. 2010 features the Sheep Show and the Cumbria Woodland and Forestry Festival. Free parking and Free bus service to and from Kendal.
Getting to the Show
It is recommended that you follow the County Show Signage and not Satellite Navigation on 9 September 2010.
Directions
Road access is very straight forward but at peak times please expect some delay as you approach the Showground.
At the busiest times your patience will be appreciated.
All car parking are FREE, signposting is clear and stewards are on hand to help with your questions.

An Arboreal Highlight of this year's Westmorland County Show will be the Trading with Trees event, part of the Cumbria Wood and Forestry Festival 2010.

Country Fest 2010
Rain failed to stop over 9,000 visitors flocking to the second Country Fest held at the end of May. While rain forced the guests into marques to escape Saturdays wet weather it didn’t stop the events going ahead as planned; fortunately Sunday was blessed with bright sunshine. Activities included helicopter rides, cookery demonstrations, stunts from Zero Gravity Mountain Bike display team and canal boat rides.
